Holbox truly reveals itself over three nights, allowing for a full day of island exploration and a night for stargazing or bioluminescence.

Mérida, as a larger cultural hub, benefits from at least three to four nights to properly absorb its history, architecture, and culinary scene. Bacalar, while smaller, also deserves two to three nights to fully appreciate the lagoon and its surrounding tranquility. Trying to squeeze these into single-night stays often means more time in transit than enjoying the destination.
