Think light kaftans, linen shirts, or sundresses. Bare chests and very brief swimwear are generally not permitted beyond the immediate poolside or sand. As evening descends, the dress code shifts.

While not strictly formal, gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers or smart shorts, and a collared shirt or polo. T-shirts and athletic wear are not suitable for dinner. For women, dresses, skirts, or smart trousers are appropriate.

Footwear is required in all public areas after sunset; flip-flops are acceptable for daytime but not for evening dining. The staff will politely remind guests if they fall outside these guidelines, especially at the entrance to the main dining rooms.

Experienced diners and locals often opt for a polished look that acknowledges the heat while maintaining elegance. Think lightweight linen shirts or tailored polos for men, paired with well-fitting trousers. Women might choose flowing maxi dresses in breathable fabrics or chic separates like silk blouses and tailored capris.

The key is looking put-together without being uncomfortable.
