Mochomos delivers a solid, if not groundbreaking, Mexican dining experience. The main restaurant, a sprawling space with high ceilings and exposed brick, serves up familiar favorites. Think well-executed tacos al pastor with a good char on the pineapple, and a surprisingly tender carne asada.

The ceviche is fresh, zesty with lime and cilantro, though we found the portion sizes on the smaller side for sharing. Breakfast here is a buffet, offering a decent spread of fruits, pastries, and made-to-order omelets, but it lacks the creative flair of the à la carte dinner menu.

For a more casual bite, the beachside grill offers grilled fish and burgers. The fish tacos are a highlight, flaky and lightly battered, served with a tangy slaw. However, the burgers can be a bit dry.
