The water here is typically calm, with minimal waves, making it ideal for families with young children or anyone who prefers a placid swimming experience. You can easily spend an afternoon here, perhaps grabbing a drink from one of the beachside vendors. For those who prefer not to walk, a quick taxi ride from Zama Beach Club will also get you there in minutes, though the walk is highly recommended for its simplicity and the pleasant island atmosphere it offers.

Beyond Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres presents other coastal experiences. Punta Sur, located on the island's southern tip, offers rugged cliffs and a dramatic lighthouse overlooking the ocean, with small coves accessible for exploration rather than traditional sunbathing. It's a scenic drive or taxi ride from Zama Beach Club, offering a different perspective on the island's natural beauty.
